With a strong presence in Indonesia, they support various retail businesses by delivering customized and reliable in-store display solutions. We are currently assisting them in finding a motivated professional to join their team in Indonesia.

As a Sales Engineer, you will play a key role in driving business growth by developing new projects and maximizing opportunities from existing clients. You will be responsible for managing customer relationships, identifying upselling opportunities, and ensuring high customer satisfaction through excellent service and technical understanding. This role focuses on project acquisition within existing accounts while continuously expanding business opportunities in the retail sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive sales growth by securing new projects and maximizing business potential from existing customers.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction, retention, and repeat business.

  • Provide excellent customer service by identifying customer needs, managing revisions, and offering appropriate solutions.

  • Identify and execute upselling opportunities by introducing new products, solutions, and project possibilities.

  • Conduct regular site visits, client meetings, and project discussions in line with company standards.

  • Focus on B2B sales, particularly within the retail segment such as minimarkets and signage projects.

  • Target customers based on predefined market segments and business objectives.

  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth project execution and customer satisfaction.

  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to support effective sales strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (S1), preferably in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.

  • Experience in B2B sales, preferably as a Sales Engineer or in a technical sales role.

  • Strong understanding of technical drawings and project specifications is highly preferred.

  • Willingness to be mobile and conduct frequent site visits.

  • Well-groomed, professional appearance with an energetic and proactive attitude.

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

  • Target-oriented with a strong drive to achieve results.

  • Experience in retail fixtures, signage, metal furniture, or metal fabrication industries is a plus.
