As a Sales Assistant Manager Packaging, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth and expanding our presence in the Indonesian flexible packaging market. You will be responsible for managing and growing a strong customer portfolio, building long-term relationships, and promoting a wide range of raw materials for flexible packaging. Your role will involve direct sales, market analysis, and coordination with trading operations to ensure smooth delivery and customer satisfaction.
Develop and maintain relationships with existing clients in the flexible packaging industry, especially in Jakarta and key regions across Indonesia.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities, leveraging your local market knowledge and network.
Manage the sales cycle from inquiry to closing, including quoting prices, negotiating terms, and following up on deliveries.
Promote a broad range of packaging materials including aluminum foils, lamination adhesives (solvent-free & solvent-based), lamination films (e.g., Nylon-BOPA, PVC/PET Shrink, BOPP, PET), zipper tapes, and PE-coated papers.
Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to ensure accurate order processing and timely fulfillment from local stock or FCL (Full Container Load) imports.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform sales strategies and enhance service offerings.
Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts to track performance and support decision-making.
Proven experience in sales within a trading company specializing in flexible packaging raw materials.
Strong local customer base and established network in the flexible packaging sector.
In-depth knowledge of relevant packaging products and their applications.
Experience managing both local stock sales and FCL import transactions.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
