As a Representative Sales Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in driving the company’s technical sales growth within the Surabaya and East Java region. You will act as the primary technical contact for clients, providing expert guidance, presenting innovative solutions, and ensuring seamless support throughout the sales cycle. This position requires strong technical acumen, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build long-term customer relationships while delivering tailored engineering solutions that align with business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent the company as the main technical sales liaison for clients across Surabaya and the surrounding East Java area.

  • Conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations to prospective customers, clearly explaining product features, benefits, and customized solutions.

  • Analyze client needs and develop technical solutions that align with their operational requirements, budget, and specifications.

  • Prepare and deliver compelling technical proposals, quotations, and commercial offers in collaboration with the sales and engineering teams.

  • Provide comprehensive pre-sales and post-sales support, including product training, installation guidance, and troubleshooting assistance.

  • Build, strengthen, and maintain productive relationships with key decision-makers, stakeholders, and business partners within the region.

  • Monitor market developments, customer trends, and competitor activities to identify potential opportunities for business expansion.

  • Achieve assigned sales targets and maintain accurate documentation of customer interactions, proposals, and sales activities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 2–3 years of experience as a Sales Engineer or in other technical sales roles.

  • Strong technical knowledge with the ability to explain complex engineering concepts in clear, understandable terms.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in both Bahasa Indonesia and English.

  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and maintaining strong client relationships.

  • Self-driven, results-oriented, and capable of working independently within a designated territory.

  • Willing to be placed in Surabaya and open to frequent travel across the East Java region.
