As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, Bills of Quantity (BOQ), and project budgets to ensure efficient project execution. You will work closely with the design, project, and procurement teams to monitor project costs, evaluate vendor quotations, and ensure all construction costs are well-controlled throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare Bills of Quantity (BOQ) and project cost estimates (RAB)
  • Calculate work quantities based on technical drawings and specifications
  • Estimate project costs, including materials, labor, and additional works
  • Evaluate quotations from vendors and subcontractors
  • Monitor project costs to ensure alignment with approved budgets
  • Coordinate with design, project, and procurement teams regarding project requirements
  • Prepare cost reports and manage variation orders or project addendums
  • Ensure accurate and efficient cost planning and estimation

Qualifications:

  • Minimum D3/S1 in Civil Engineering or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Estimator
  • Strong understanding of BOQ, RAB, cost estimation, and cost control
  • Able to calculate work quantities from construction/shop drawings
  • Good knowledge of construction/interior materials and market pricing
  • Able to read architectural, interior, and MEP drawings
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel; AutoCAD and SketchUp are an advantage
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team
