As an HR Manager, you will play a vital role in managing human resources operations on the factory floor, ensuring that company policies are upheld and that the workforce remains productive, disciplined, and well-supported. Your responsibilities will span compliance monitoring, employee relations, and HR administration, with a focus on managing blue-collar workers in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Enforce and monitor adherence to HR Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across the factory floor.
Act as a mediator and disciplinary officer in addressing worker-related issues.
Maintain accurate employee attendance records and provide input for payroll processing.
Coordinate the onboarding and orientation process for new factory workers.
Build strong rapport with the factory workforce while asserting leadership and authority where necessary.
Prepare and deliver regular HR reports to management for strategic decision-making.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in HR, preferably in a manufacturing, production, or industrial environment.
Proven experience in managing factory workers or blue-collar labor.
Familiarity with basic HRIS systems and proficiency in Microsoft Excel for attendance and payroll tracking.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to balance empathy and assertiveness.
Detail-oriented and organized, with a hands-on approach to HR operations in fast-paced settings.
